1999 Topps Chrome - Matt Holiday

The Bowman Chrome worked well in 1995. So Topps did a chrome version of their main set in 1996 and after too. Here is a 1999 Topps Chrome card featuring two of Colorado's top draft picks from the year before. The more famous of the two being Matt Holliday. Fun fact, August graduated kindergarten with Matt Holliday's son. Other than that, Matt's claim to fame is his 300+ career home runs, 100+ steals, 7x All-star, 7x top 20 MVP finish, 1x Batting Champ, 1x RBI champ, and 1X World Series Champion.

Meanwhile, Jeff Winchester toiled in the minors for several years before moving on to coaching. But if a picture says a thousand words, ol' J-Win was the happier of the two.
